BENETTI MONDO : CARDIFF

Benetti is bringing the heat of Rimini to Cardiff for this Saturday night's essential spectacular at Disco Nectar!

CANZONE DEL GIORNO #13

Flyrox - Funky Now (6:23)
extremely rare 12" from 1983 of vintage instrumental italo disco in the classic boogie style - the song begins unremarkably enough then as the layers of sound are introduced becomes an unbelievably infectious monster of a song as devastatingly simple in form as it is effective

CANZONE DEL GIORNO #12

Claudio Simonetti - Cut And Run (4:34)
the keyboard genius from Italian progrock legends Goblin is the creator of some startling electronic melodies and Cut And Run is no exception, the theme for the 1985 gore movie Cut And Run directed by Ruggero Deodato (of Cannibal Holocaust fame), is an amazingly unknown and unfeted italo anthem of simply irrestistible credentials
